The Little Things

It amazes me how the little things we do can bring us so much joy. I thank you God for allowing the little things in life to bring joy into our lives. This is an example of something that brought me much joy. Recently my nephew Brenden sent me Flat Stanley. I little paper cut out of a charactor from a story his class was reading. Stanley had a bulletin board fall on him and this is how he becomes flat Stanley. He then discovers all the adventures he can go on.  We had to keep for 5 days and take with us everywhere we went. He sent is as part of a class project. When Flat Stanley is done visiting we will send him back to Brenden's teacher so that she can share his adventures with the class. I had a blast trying to come up with activities Flat Stanley and I could do together. Doing this for my nephew. I got excited at the prospect of  doing this for my nephew and it brought me so much joy. I took Flat Stanley to the NC Zoo to visit the animals.

I also made cards with flat Stanley for the fun of it.

I called to update Brenden on what has happened with Flat Stanley. He and his mom are really excited to see what adventures Flat Stanley went on while he was here.
